My name is Claudio Ghizzo (Belluno, 1986), and I am a mountain and nature photographer.

Since 2011, I have dedicated my life to telling the story of the highlands through images that seek the essence of wild life: the strength of animals, the poetry of landscapes, and the magic of unexpected encounters.

I live in Falcade, in the heart of the Agordo Dolomites, which I consider my true home. Here I have learned to deeply understand outdoor gear and to face nights in a tent on high-altitude plateaus. This is how I have been able to witness unique sunrises and sunsets, experiencing the mountains in their most silent and authentic moments.

For me, photography has never been a race to the summit, but an invitation to pause, observe, and be amazed. At times, I entrust to words the same emotions I capture through the lens: from this need to tell stories came my first short novel, Jonas of the Ibex.

Through Dolomitiwildlife, I share this perspective: not just photographs, but a way of inhabiting the mountains based on respect, listening, and continuous exploration. A space to learn, understand, and be surprised by the wild realities, within and beyond the Dolomites.
